The Junior Rebels chased the Silver Foxes back to Regina in a conclusive afternoon match on December 1 at the Civic Centre Arena. The home team finished the Sunday game with an outstanding victory of 14-4 in favour of the Rebels.

This game had been owned by the Rebs since the first period, when Matthew Roblin shot one in at 16:42 during a powerplay with assistance from Cayden Price and Dawson Diekrager. Tyde Hutchinson, Cole Zieg, John Priela, Cayden Price and Drew Lipton each took turns scoring in the first period for the Rebels. The Silver Foxes earned two scorchers in the first, but this game belonged to Assiniboia, with the Regina team slamming two more into the Assiniboia net during the second and third periods, but doing little else. Assiniboia literally paved the Foxes over as they took endless pepper shots at the enemy's twines. Meanwhile, Riley Skarbon, Reese Rutko, Tyde Hutchinson, Jordan Johnson, Keegan Coffin, Cain Thomson, Alex Hicks and Mason Coldwell all aided their team throughout this game, where the Assiniboia boys skated around the Foxes with ease. Another mention: Triston Cherwoniak provided this afternoon’s competition with some expert goaltending.

The Rebels easily won this game with superior offensive and defensive strategies. Yet, the Rebels still remain in fourth place in early December in the Bob Johnston Division with 16 points, so this team still has some more work to do, but they can succeed.
