The Senior Rebels suffered their first loss of the season to the hands of their arch rivals, the Hodgeville Huskies, by a score of 5-2 on November 16 at the Assiniboia Civic Centre Arena. The Huskies scored in the first 12 seconds and the Rebels trailed for the remainder of this contest. Missing were a couple of key cogs in Sean Whelan and Kyle Hall. The Rebels were no match for their opposition, trailing 3-1 after the first period, then 4-2 after the second and finishing with 5-2.  Brayden Delorme was the only sniper to dent the twines this night, scoring both Rebel goals.

Next weekend, the Rebels are playing host to the Coronach Merchants for the second time on Friday, November 22 at 8:30 p.m. Then the Rebels will venture to Hodgeville on Saturday night to try and gain some revenge on the Huskies on November 23.

The Notekeu League is proving to be fairly well-matched this season and any team can give another a run for their money on any given night, so everyone should make sure they get out to catch some great Senior hockey action for the 2019-2020 season.
