With current COVID-19 restrictions making gathering in person uncertain this summer, organizers at Ag in Motion are ensuring producers have information and tools at their fingertips throughout the year with the launch of a year-long digital offering beginning in March.

“We learned in 2020 through our Ag in Motion digital farm show that farmers appreciated being in touch with experts and each other to share information,” said Lynda Tityk, Executive Vice-President of Glacier FarmMedia. “Attendees at our digital show last year told us that more frequent information provided in smaller chunks throughout the year would be most helpful for planning in 2021.”

Tityk notes that while many are missing attending in-person shows, there is still too much uncertainty about what may be allowed in terms of in-person gatherings in 2021. With this in mind, the event team at Ag in Motion is moving forward with definitive plans to support farmers with timely and relevant information in 2021.

The first themed digital event will take place on Wednesday, March 24 with discussions on spring planting and ways to maximize profitability through small changes, practical equipment tips plus a look at new technology on the horizon.

Farmers only need to register for the Ag in Motion Digital Pass once to get year-long access to online content and connections. Themed digital events will run on the same powerful, interactive online platform used for Ag in Motion in 2020. Registration is free for farmers to participate.

New this year is a virtual Coffee Shop for farmers, speakers and industry reps to gather at small virtual tables on digital event days to catch up, ask each other questions and video chat in an informal setting.

Registration for the Ag in Motion Digital Pass is now open, and offers farmers:

· Six themed one-day digital events throughout the year with presentations on seeding, growing, equipment, harvest, livestock and innovation topics;

· Industry expert sessions and demonstrations, plus research and technology updates;

· On-demand content available 24/7 and in between digital event days.
