Public Service Announcement: Possible COVID-19 exposure at businesses in Regina 

The Saskatchewan Health Authority alerted individuals of a possibility of COVID-19 transmission through businesses in Regina on August 8. 

The SHA urged Saskatchewan residents to follow public health measures and personal safety precautions to prevent the spread of the virus, including physical distancing of two metres, frequent hand hygiene and self-isolating should anyone develop any symptoms of COVID-19.

Although the risk of transmission to the general public is presently considered low, the SHA advised members of the public who visited the following locations to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the last date of attendance at the listed stores at the specified times in Regina.

July 29, Walmart – the Harbour Landing location – from approximately 9-9:30 a.m.

July 30, Bismillah Halal Meat and Groceries – 4614 Albert Street – from 8:15-8:30 p.m.

July 30, Real Canadian Superstore – the Golden Mile location – from 8:30-9:30 p.m.

August 5, Walmart – Grasslands location – from approximately 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

August 5, Superstore - North location on Rochdale Blvd. – from approximately 6-7 p.m. 

August 7, Superstore – Albert Street South – Golden Mile – from approximately 7:30-8 p.m.
