Traffic stop results in arrests

Members of the Assiniboia RCMP detachment conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by an 18-year-old male on February 3 at approximately 10:30 p.m. During the traffic stop amounts of marihuana and cocaine were located as well as a prohibited weapon.
Devon Kinchen of Limerick has been charged with the following offences: possession of substance (Mairhuana); controlled drugs and substance act; possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and controlled drugs and substance act; trafficking a substance (cocaine) and controlled drugs and substance act; possession of a prohibited weapon; possession of a weapon dangerous to the public; and unauthorized possession of ammunition.
Evidence obtained during the traffic stop resulted in charges against a 19-year-old male and a 25-year-old male for an armed robbery that took place in Assiniboia, SK on January 9th, 2017 at a business located on the 200 block of 1st Street East in Assiniboia. Billy Klassen of Lafleche has been charged with the following offences: armed robbery; and failure to comply with a judges undertaking.
Assiniboia RCMP detachment is currently looking for 25-year-old Khaled Al-Nadi of Assiniboia. An arrest warrant has been issued for Khaled Al-Nadi and he has been charged with the following offences: trafficking a substance (cocaine) and controlled drugs; armed robbery; wearing a disguise with intent to commit a criminal offence; mischief under $5,000; failure to comply with a judges undertaking; possession of a prohibited weapon; and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
Both Devon Kinchen and Billy Klassen appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on February 6 and have been remanded to Assiniboia Provincial Court on February 9.
