Glen Forrester of Torquay Saskatchewan, a village 234.3 kilometres southeast of Assiniboia, won the grand Assiniboia Spring Fever Lotto prize of $150,000. Curtis Nelson of Nelson GM presented Forrester's cheque on May 29.
Forrester was ecstatic about winning $150,000, although he couldn't quite believe the news at first when Nelson called to congratulate him. "I was totally shocked when he called me. What did I win? I kept repeating to myself."
