COVID-19 Update: one additional death, 11 new cases, 13 in hospital, 31 more recoveries

There were 11 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on August 6, bringing the total to 1,387 cases. The new cases were located in the South Central (9), Saskatoon (1) and South West (1) zones.

There were 11 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on August 6, bringing the total to 1,387 cases. The new cases were located in the South Central (9), Saskatoon (1) and South West (1) zones. Of the 11 reported cases reported, 10 were people living in communal living settings. 

One more person has died from COVID-19. This person was in the Regina region and in the 70-79 age range. Of the 1,387 reported cases, 204 were considered active.

A total of 1,164 people recovered. 

Thirteen people were in hospital. Seven people are received inpatient care; three in Saskatoon, two in the Southwest region, one in the Central East region and one in Regina.

Six people were in intensive care; four in Saskatoon, one in Regina and one in the North Central region.
