Spring is just around the corner and plans are being made for the fourth annual Berry Jam Music Festival.

The Berry Jam Music Festival is a one-day music festival that is held at a berry u-pick farm located 12 kms. north of Kincaid. The music festival features mainly Saskatchewan musicians from the Country and Folk genres.

The day has something for everyone: a Farmer’s Market/ Trade Show, children’s activities including a bouncy castle and an inflatable bus obstacle course,  berry picking and great food supplied by the Full Moon Tavern.

This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, July 7. Gates open at 11 a.m. Show begins at 1 p.m. and wraps up about 7 p.m.  Advance tickets will be available online for $20.00. Children ages 12 and under FREE. Go to: www.bouviersberrybasket.com for tickets after Wednesday, March 21. Gate tickets will be $25 per adult. Children ages 12 and under free.

Headliners for this year’s show are: Glenna Switzer and Blackwater, which promises to get people on the dance floor with a diverse line-up of music. The band’s musical repertoire, ranges from  Rock ‘N Roll Classics, to the most popular Country tunes. Larry Krause will play a traditional, roots style of Western, Cowboy and Country Gospel music that keeps folks coming back for more. He has been a headliner for countless Grandstand shows, the Dauphin’s Countryfest, the Calgary Stampede, small town halls and Agricultural fairs or just performing around the fire after a long Cowboy day. Red Moon Road makes a much bigger sound than one would expect from a trio. In an impressive well-choreographed show, bordering on spectacle, the trio incorporates impeccable three-part harmonies, a roots drum kit split entertainingly but pragmatically between two band members and an acoustic guitar rigged to also be a bass. Also expected to appear on the stage in Back To Mono.  At the end of the show all musicians will take part in the “jam  session” portion can do so.
