Spring Fever Lotto winners announced

The 22nd annual Assiniboia Spring Fever Lotto was drawn on May 28. The lottery proceeds will be used to construct a new skating arena for the town of Assiniboia. To date, it has raised $4,000,000 for the rink project.

The 22nd annual Assiniboia Spring Fever Lotto was drawn on May 28. The lottery proceeds will be used to construct a new skating arena for the town of Assiniboia. To date, it has raised $4,000,000 for the rink project. There were 55 winners and the prize packages included a grand prize, 13 major prizes plus 40 other winning prize packages and a 50/50 draw.
The grand prize went to Gerald and Louise Dyke of Grenfell, with Louise Dyke travelling to Assiniboia to pick up the $150,000 prize. The grand prize was a choice of $150,000 cash or five merchandise packages, including a vehicle package from Nelson GM and Moose Jaw RV, a plane package from Maule Air of Canada, a ranch package supplied by E. Bourassa & Sons, a John Deere ranch package supplied by South Country Equipment in Assiniboia and Mossbank, and a Case IH farm package supplied by Young’s Equipment in Assiniboia.
The 50/50 draw winner was Audrey Bodnar of Yorkton, who received $65,707.50. Bodnar, who also travelled to Assiniboia, stated that she was very surprised to win.
