At this time, I would like to thank Rodney (Rocky) Frank for 42 years of dedicated service to our town and also wish him well in his retirement. I also would like to congratulate Ray Delorme on his appointment of Operations Foreman. We look forward to working with him.
Also, I would like to welcome our new Director of Operations Nicolas Zuck. Nicolas brings his experience working for the City of Regina. We look forward to working with him as well.
At out June 1 council meeting, the Assiniboia Town Council approved an exciting idea called Re-Open Assiniboia. As of June 8, all of our business community will have the opportunity to Re-Open, albeit with restrictions.
The Re-Open Assiniboia plan designed is to promote and encourage everyone living, working and visiting in our area to come out and support all of our local businesses to help them reopen. We plan to have promotional advertising over the next while. So please come out and shop local and remember social distancing rules still apply.
