The 1st Assiniboia Scout Group hosted an indoor electronics camp weekend on March 11 including racing cars, playing with electronics and camping overnight. They were encouraged to bring their electronics to use as part of the activities.
About 60 members from Scouts clubs from Assiniboia, Estevan and Moose Jaw attended the event held at St. George’s parish hall in Assiniboia. All levels of Scouts participated.
The Scouts also celebrated the February 22 birthday of the Scouts founder Lord Robert Baden-Powell with Southland Co-op providing a decorated cake for the occasion.
